Add voices and parts

How to add a new instrument part to a song

Ask for the instrument and the style: “add warm strings”. The chat asks where (where it fits best, the whole song, or your times) and the new part arrives as its own stem.

Studio: instrument parts use HD and AI minutes.

Step by step

  1. Open the track and make sure it is split.
  2. Say the instrument and its sound: drums, bass, guitar, keys or strings.
  3. Choose where it plays: where it fits best, the whole song, or your own times.
  4. Confirm, then mix the new stem like any other.

Say it your way

  • Add warm strings where they fit best.

  • A funky bass line for the whole song.

  • Soft keys in the bridge only.

Good to know

Where it fits best means the chat reads the song’s sections and suggests the parts, such as the choruses, with a reason for each. Several parts land on one stem that is silent in between.

The new part follows your song’s tempo, key and chords. If you do not like the take, ask for another or drop it; the rest of the track never changes.
