How to add AI vocals to an instrumental

Ask for vocals on your track: “a female voice singing about leaving town”. The AI sings over the music you have, and the take arrives as a new stem in the player.

Studio: AI vocals use its HD and AI minutes.

Step by step

  1. Bring the instrumental and let it split.
  2. Say who should sing and what about, or paste your lyrics.
  3. Describe the voice if you like: “soft breathy alto” or “bright belted soprano”.
  4. Confirm the price. Each version arrives as its own stem; keep the one you like.

Say it your way

  • Write a chorus about leaving town and have a female voice sing it.

  • Put my lyrics on this beat, male voice, in Spanish.

  • A duet over the whole track.

Good to know

AI vocals are a vocal-only stem sung over your existing music, so the instrumental stays exactly as it was. If the track already had a vocal, it is muted, not deleted, so you can compare.

With two or more versions, the chat asks which one stays: solo each, then press Keep. The lyrics the AI sang are kept with the request, so you can always ask what it sang.
