How to add a click track to a song

Ask for “a click track”. It arrives as its own stem called Click, following the song’s beat, and stays muted until you press its M button.

Free: the click track works on every plan.

Say it your way

  • Add a click so I can play along.

  • Put the click on and turn the vocals down.

  • Download the song with the click on the left speaker only.

Good to know

The click follows the beat found in the recording, so it moves with a song that speeds up or slows down slightly. It is a stem like the others: mute it, solo it, change its volume or send it to one speaker.

For a live show, a common trick is the click in one ear and the band in the other. Ask for the click on the left only and the rest on the right, then download that mix.
